Angela Heiser

My name is Angela and I live near Raleigh. When I am not reading for literary journals or presses (Abode, Wildscape, Libre), I can be found in a coffee shop, bookstore, or herding my kids around. I love volunteering with different organizations within the literary community. It's so life-affirming and rewarding to connect with other writers and support their endeavors. As a self-professed bibliophile, I also support fellow writers by buying their books and adding to my TBR pile. Someday I hope to have a library with floor to ceiling shelves. 

In addition to writing poetry, interviews and blogs, I am researching and writing a book of docupoems on American women in aerospace. I have been fortunate to attend Writers In Paradise and Sancho Panza Literary Society's Dublin residency at Trinity College. I also teach German and ESL to teens and adults, contribute to a local blog at Ink and Oak, and volunteer for the North Carolina Poetry Society.
