Timothy Ngome

I am Timothy Ngome, a writer from Kenya with an unhealthy interest in memory, family, and the small absurdities of ordinary life. I am trained in law, which means I spend much of my time around seriousness and write partly to escape it. My fiction explores grief, power, and the things people avoid saying out loud, often with a quiet, uncomfortable humor. When I am not writing, I am reading novels that make me laugh and flinch, cycling, or replaying conversations that ended long ago.
