Tinamarie Cox

Greetings TPL readers!

I’m Tinamarie Cox, a poet and artist living in Arizona (USA). While I have been doing these things since I was a kid, I’ve only been on my publishing journey for the last several years. I spent a good chunk of my life living in survival mode, and it wasn’t until I started to seriously address my mental health in my 30s that I really started living. Much of my work revolves around my emotional struggles and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. I am an advocate for mental health wellness and spreading awareness.

My home life consists of time spent with my best friend and husband, as well as our two children and four rescue felines. When I’m not writing or creating art, I am loving on my little family and spoiling my cats. Being creative is a necessity as much as it is a joy for me. My crafts and projects with my children can be found all around our house.

You’ll find my written and visual work in many different online and print publications under various genres. I can rarely stick to one subject. I live outside a box. I have two poetry chapbooks with Bottlecap Press: Self-Destruction in Small Doses (2023) and A Collection of Morning Hours (2024). My first full-length poetry collection, Through a Sea Laced with Midnight Hues, arrived in 2025 with Nymeria Publishing. And my next collection, A Numbers Game, is set for an early 2026 publication. I am excited to see what’s next for me.
