Philip Chijioke Abonyi

Hello, I am Philip Chijioke Abonyi from Enugu State, Nigeria. A graduate of Science Laboratory Technology in Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Nigeria, I am a writer/Poet. My poetry chapbook,— The Chemistry of a Dark Room and Radiation, was published by Ghost City Press,  USA. I won the Brigitte Poirson Literature Prize in 2022 and the Archipelago Poetry Competition in 2023. I was also shortlisted in various poetry competitions, including the Eriata Abhobor Poetry Prize in 2019. My works have appeared in African writers' magazines, Agape Review, Eve magazine, Better than Starbucks Magazine, Praxis magazine, Typehouse magazine, Icefloe Press, Art Lounge Journal, Synchronized Chaos Magazine, Ebedi Review, Nantygreens, and elsewhere. I love the works of Poets like Ocean Vouge, Sylvia Plath, Sullivan Chidiebere, Samuel Samba, and many others.
