The clapboard siding painted brassy yellow is Jack Kerouac, and Joy Harjo is every window, and if any one of them is left open, you’ll hear Kate Bush yowling from within. The bookcases are filled with authors I do not have time to mention but only hint at: Shakespeare, Austen, Alcott, Mary Oliver, Billy Collins, unknown poets, and anthologies from independent poetry journals.
