در سوگ،

رنج پرومته ملموس می‌شود.

در بالای کوه قاف،

به سنگی زنجیر شده، 

به انتظار ایزد انتقامی است، 

تا جگر بر منقار زند.

کینِ آتش را باید از تن زدود.

هر روز می‌میری و عجبا که، 

با طلوع دوباره‌ی خورشید،

آن عذاب دوباره جان می‌گیرد.

غوطه‌ور در سیاهی،

در انتظار قهرمانی که چرخه‌ی تکرار را بشکند.

English version:

“The Vengeance of the Fire” translated by Meisam Khaghani

In mourning,

Prometheus’ suffering becomes palpable.

On the Caucasus,

Chained  over a rock,

In wait for the god of vengeance

To beak into his liver. 

The vengeance of the fire 

Ought to be cleansed from the body.

To death, everyday,

Yet, more remarkable is that 

With every sunrise,

Your wound is renewed.

Immersed at night

You look to the coming

Of a hero

That’ll break the periodic cycle.
