枯れ葉の落ちる　桜吹雪に

You chase the backs that flee too soon,
your cheer forced,
your shoulders heavy.

The sand-weight grows,
like lead in the veins—
meaningless burdens
piling up inside you.

In the cherry snow,
dead leaves fall.
