Olivia Lebeau

Hi! My name is Olivia, I'm a French student at the university Sorbonne Paris Nord (Sorbonne XIII) following the Marketing & Publishing Master's Programme and doing my apprenticeship at Gallimard.

I previously graduated with an English and Italian literature MA at the university Paris Nanterre (Paris X) and studied in Erasmus programmes at the universities Federico II in Napoli, Università degli studi di Cagliari and King's College London which allowed me to broaden my linguistic and literary skills.

My readings vary a lot: from romance and fantasy, to poetry and non-fiction. I love writers like Alain Damasio, Haruki Murakami, Goliarda Sapienza, F. Scott Fitzgerald and bell hooks. I truly believe that writing and being creative adds beauty to the world around us.

Translating and exchanging works of art and literature is very important to me. This is why I am passionate about international creative projects and group works like The Poetry Lighthouse and honoured to be a part of it!
