Lauren Middleton

Lauren Middleton is a deaf poet, writer and PhD candidate residing in Wales. Her work focusses on ordinary life, examining how health and disability, interpersonal relationships and the environment shape our experiences; and she has particular interests in poetry, memoir and mental health. Her most recent poetry publications can be found in Obsessed with Pipework and Ink Sweat and Tears. In association with Screen Alliance Wales and Literature Wales, Lauren also contributed to the collective poem, ‘They Call Us’ for International Women’s Day 2026.
