Jonathan Chibuike Ukah

Jonathan Chibuike Ukah is a Pushcart and Best of Net-nominated poet living in the United Kingdom. His poems have been featured in TABS, The Journal of Poetry & Poetics, The Pierian, Propel Magazine, Atticus Review, The Journal of Undiscovered Poets and elsewhere. He won the Alexander Pope Poetry Award of the Pierian magazine in 2025, and the Atlantis Poetry Prize 2026.  He was also the third prize winner of The Hemlock Poetry Contest in 2025, and winner of January-February 2025 Monthly Poetry Contest of The Literary Shark Magazine. He has won the Voices of Lincoln Poetry Contest twice, 2022 and 2024, and was the Editor’s Choice Poetry Winner at the Unleash Creatives in 2024 .Jonathan Chibuike reads poems with Wildfire Poetry Magazine from time to time, and can also be seen in Facebook reading his short poems. His first  Chapbook, A is for Anfang was released in December 2025 by the Island of Wak-Wak.
