Tulip Chowdhury

Hello, my name is Tulip. Like a flower, I resonate with life and regard my time on Earth as a seasonal journey. I enjoy hiking, reading, writing, swimming, photography, music, and traveling.

A lifelong educator, some of my most cherished chapters have been spent teaching and guiding students from elementary through high school. At this stage of life, I focus more deeply on writing and on giving back. I carry Mother Teresa’s words with me: “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one,” and I strive to do my humble part.

English is my third language, and my writing often takes wild, exploratory turns. Through poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and column writing, I use words as a means of self-expression and discovery. Some of my books are available on Amazon, including the novels Visible Invisible and Beyond and Soul Inside Out, the short story collection Life Station, and the poetry collections Red Blue, Purple and Verses on Vines.

Rabindranath Tagore has been a guiding light in my literary journey, while Emily Dickinson—writing from my home state of Massachusetts—remains a poetic mantra for me. In my work, I seek to cultivate a voice that reflects my inner energy and my connection to the universe.

Presently, my life station is in Georgia, USA.
