When I'm not worldbuilding for fun (avid D&D nerd here) or writing my eventual debut novel, I am working on my degree in Instructional Design. I am a former public school educator with a lot of passion for how and why humans learn. On paper it is kind of boring, but in practice it is very transcendent. I am from Florida and managed to escape to the cooler north where I can chill out and relearn how to relax.
I came into writing at the suggestion of a former professor in animation while in college. Feeling unsatisfied, she pointed me to creative writing and I fell in love with it. It was not until I had my first big post-college heartbreak that I turned to poetry. The rest is just history. Most of my work is rooted in grief and acceptance. It also delves into realms of healing, learning, and growth with a little bit of spice. Previous work can be found in The Holy Male, Witches Magazine, and Bookends Review.
