Daniel Naawenkangua Abukuri
Daniel Naawenkangua Abukuri (he/him) is a Black poet and prose writer from Ghana. A Best of the Net, Pushcart Prize, and BREW Poetry Award nominee, his work has appeared or is forthcoming in Chestnut Review, Transition Magazine, The Malahat Review, NENTA Literary Journal, Consilience Journal, Brittle Paper, A Long House, Minyan Magazine, Twin Flame Literary, Poetry Potion, and elsewhere. He is the first-place winner of the 2025 Wingless Dreamer Contest, a finalist for the 2025 Adinkra Poetry Prize, and fourth runner-up for the African Literary Prize.
