Ben Cook
Ben Cook is currently an English literature PhD candidate at the University of Glasgow, where his research centres on the dialectical nature of contemporary autofiction as a literary form that registers and responds to the conditions of neoliberalism. He is originally from a seaside town in rural East Devon in the South West of England, and previously studied Politics and Philosophy BA and Literature and Philosophy MA at the University of Sussex. Some of his favourite writers and poets he has read over the years include, but are certainly not limited to, Fyodor Dostoevsky (all of the Russian classics really), Ernest Hemingway, Milan Kundera, Fernando Pessoa, Charles Bukowski, Rachel Cusk, Vigdis Hjorth, and Karl Ove Knausgård.
