Satya Bosman

Hi, I’m Satya and I’m the Founder and Co-Editor of Black Cat Poetry Press which is a small independent poetry press that we run out of Kent in England. It’s been going for 4 years and we’re proud of our titles and the poets we have published.

I’ve written poetry most of my life but have taken it more seriously over the previous 8 years. Recently I’ve been developing my first collection which should be out next year. I’ve been published widely in journals and magazines including 14 Magazine, Drawn to the Light Magazine, Suburban Witchcraft, Acropolis Journal, Seaside Gothic, The Lake and upcoming in Porridge Magazine.

My favourite poets are Lisel Mueller, Vicki Feaver, Rebecca Goss and Lucille Clifton. I also love reading novels and am more than a bit obsessed with Thomas Hardy.

Other interests are social and climate justice and I’m very passionate about animal rights. My dog Jack is the love of my life!
