Katina Cremona

Hello, I’m a Greek-Australian, based in Kythira which is a Greek island where my maternal grandparents were born. I have worked all my adult life as a psychologist, therapist, and leadership coach and still love supporting people to make changes in their personal and professional lives. I’m a latecomer to poetry and have just started having poems published which is very gratifying. I’m also an MFA candidate at Pacific University, Oregon. Amongst many amazing poets I’ve read, I particularly enjoy reading Dorianne Laux, Ellen Bass, Patricia Smith, Martin Espada, Shira Erlichman, to name a few. When I’m not reading or writing poetry, I go for daily walks on the island, visit Australia every two years, spend time in Athens, meditate, and love hanging out with, and having rich conversations, with my darling husband and dear friends.
