Jori Al Jiran
Jori Al Jiran is a writer, poet, and artist, currently studying Speech-Language Pathology. Her works, often rooted in gothic literature, delve into the beauty and madness of the world, the fearsome grace of psychology, and the horror it embodies. She admires the haunting depth of Edgar Allan Poe, the sharp wit of Oscar Wilde, and the psychological complexity of Fyodor Dostoevsky—and, most importantly, every Marvel comic book out there (except the The Crossing, which was a crime).
Her writing revolves around philosophy and the raw complexities of human nature. Her piece “The Canvas” was published in Maudlin House.
But, shamefully—like every writer—she once had a deleted Wattpad account… one that wasn’t quite as philosophical.
