Watch it All Fall Down

Rising from the ruins of Babylon,

a lone smile stands in somber pinnacle.

Eyes with overbearing hostility

gathered by hearts still caught in quandary,

the riddles solitude speaks are feeble—

Platonic pledges of loyal cattle;

the cornerstone of animosity

by the savant yet crestfallen she.

Then an iridescent figure appeared

bestowing pure love and wanton pleasure.

The attrition of her mighty fortress;

stone cold ornament turns incontinent.
