I’ve learnt to cope with tides
Coming and going people in my life
Lack of permanence
Constant shift
New spirits flood my periphery
They’re here to teach me something
The old ones left
Cause they’d shared everything
There’s wisdom to be found
In their loss and my grief
New power and strength,
Rising from the deep
