The Veiled Lady

The Veiled Lady swims across the sky

casting her shadow upon the earth.

She trails her fingers in the ocean blue, stirring mini whirlpools,

then lightly she lifts her fingers, clutching the dripping water droplets—

sparkling, turning into prism colors of red and blue.

Slowly caressing the air, she pivots and reaches for the sun,

wrapping her arms and legs around it till only a corona of light can be seen.

A lover's kiss of joining held for 4 minutes then sadly releasing all energy,

she sinks to set behind the Earth.
