Water cools my dream

Her waters reach

Into my dry valleys

My fallow soul thirsts

For water in my dreams

Her dream waters kiss

Flowers I never see

Water dreams of her

While I sleep through the moon

The moon dreams of her

And waters begin to dance

I dream of the moon 

And I taste her water

Light’s a dreamed surprise

To water below the moon

She dreams silver light

Coloring the water

I dream her light

Softens me like water

And I wake in the dream

To the sound of falling water

My parched sleep prays

To be watered by her dreams

Her dream flower forgets

It’s a dream in my desert

Her kiss is the dream

Water forgot to dream

When the moon rose

Over bay water painting

Silver light on my dream

As she kisses me awake.
