Blue Frog
I colored a blue frog,
to leap from my notebook,
to blend and become one
with the sky.
To croak a song for the clouds,
birds and the sun,
twinkling stars and pearly moon.
No, not poisonous,
devoid of alkaloids,
with pink tadpoles.
Just a terrestrial amphibian,
with lofty dreams of flying high,
to see the blue, to be the blue.
